GSF Alumni

What is GSF Alumni?

GSF Alumni is an exciting new network open to GSF students as they leave Sixth Form education.

What do GSF Alumni do?

First and foremost GSF Alumni stay in touch with GSF.  But many will also support current GSF students in their peer education programmes and as well as getting involved in international development activities in their wider community.  As the programme develops, there will be opportunities to network with fellow GSF Alumni all over the country at a variety of formal and informal social events.

Who can become a GSF Alumnus?

It is open to all GSF students on leaving sixth form education. It doesn't matter whether you will be in higher education, employment, gap year, or if you simply don't know what you will be doing this time next year - you will be welcome!

What is expected of a GSF Alumnus?

GSF Alumni are invited to get involved in as much or as little as they wish, according to their interests and other commitments.  There is an exciting range of possibilities and we are sure you will find something that suits you.

What will GSF Alumni get out of the programme?

As with most things, the more they put in, the more they get out!  The GSF Alumni programme will give you opportunities to:

  • Develop personal skills
  • Add to your CV
  • Meet and network with like-minded people
  • Learn more about yourself and the world
  • Keep in touch with GSF and partner organisations
  • Make a positive impact on students and community and wider world.

How can I join?

Download our application form, complete it and return it by post or email.  We will then contact you with more details of what happens next.

What people say

"The Global Student Forum provides an excellent opportunity for 16-19 year olds to speak out and be heard.  We will be listening carefully to what they think about the important issues facing us all as citizens of today's world."

Lord Alton of Liverpool, Professor of Citizenship at Liverpool John Moores University
