Diana Award - guide to the nomination process
The Diana Award provides great opportunities to recognise your students' work to make a global difference through GSF. New categories include Active Campaigner, Champion Fundraiser and Champion Volunteer - all of which are open to individual and group nominations. Furthermore, there is also a new International Diana Award that will be of particular relevance to GSF schools. Further information on how to nominate is available on the Diana Award website.
GSF impact reports
There is plenty of evidence of the benefits of GSF to students' learning and personal development. This site has a special page of reports, including one-page executive summaries, which will prove particularly helpful to teachers wishing to demonstrate the impacts of GSF within their school.
GSF School Case Study proforma
Inspire students and teachers in other schools with the story of what your students have achieved through any aspect of their involvement with GSF! Just complete this simple proforma, describing what they did and the impacts, so that GSF can publish your school's story.
Unlocking the educational potential of fundraising activities: Guidelines for good practice in fundraising with young people
Think Global has brought together a group of twelve charities involved in development and humanitarian action, including Christian Aid, Oxfam, CAFOD, Unicef, British Red Cross and Islamic Relief, to develop and highlight their shared understanding of good practice in fundraising with young people. These organisations believe that fundraising activities that fulfil their educational potential support young people to participate in decision-making, explore the work of charities, engage with underlying issues, consider a range of ways to effect change and carry out safe, effective fundraising. This document highlights and details these principles.
