Folabit Lena Novel is a student leader who served as the All-African Student Unions AASU Vice President for the Central African Region. For the past years, she has worked effortlessly to fight for the students’ rights especially ensuring that the students across the continent have access to quality education, equal access to higher education, gender equality, students at risk, the promotion of TVET among others. She mobilises and motivates students to uphold the entrepreneurial mindset to fight against unemployment in Africa and her Country Cameroon in Particular. She has a Bachelor Degree in Curriculum Studies and Teaching History from the University of Buea, Cameroon, Masters in University Governance and the Development of Local Institution from the University of Yaounde II-Soa, Cameroon, she is currently a Ph.D. student in Higher Education at the University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.
