Based in Sydney, Australia Sabrine Yassine is an undergraduate student in Law and Business with a Major in International Business. As the daughter of migrants who fled civil war, her background has shaped her passion and longstanding advocacy for social justice, economic equality and the importance of access to education.
She has been elected as a student representative at local, regional, state-wide and international levels, representing Australia as a New Colombo Plan Scholar while currently holding the position of Welfare Officer of the National Union of Students, championing diverse campaigns addressing cultural and gender diversity, student health, and socioeconomic challenges, with a personal passion for refugee education and gender equality.
