Sara is originally from Italy, and currently living in Brussels, working for Erasmus Student Network (ESN) as Project Officer. Sara is currently concluding her MA in International and Diplomatic Sciences, and she holds a BA in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation from the University of Siena (Italy). She started volunteering in 2018 after her Erasmus in Vigo (Spain). Soon after, she did an internship in Málaga and another mobility for study in Paris, at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
In her current role at ESN, being part of the Education and Policy Department, she supports the development of programmes and policies of the European Union and beyond, such as the Erasmus+, to improve internationalisation opportunities for students and to advocate towards European institutions, National Agencies and other stakeholders like civil society organisations.
