What should the global student movement prioritise in the year ahead? Where can international cooperation make the greatest difference for students? And how can GSF strengthen its work to support student organisations and represent students globally?
The consultation will bring together perspectives from across the student movement and the wider education community to inform GSF’s priorities for 2027. We welcome proposals grounded in students’ experiences, with practical suggestions for what GSF should do and the changes its work should help achieve.
Contribute through the written consultation
An open public survey has been launched to identify priorities, propose concrete actions, and share how students, member organisations and partners would like to see GSF work and engage in the coming year. Link to the survey below.
The deadline for written contributions is 16 November 2026.
Join the public consultation
An open online consultation will take place on 19 November 2026 at 14:00 CET. Students, student organisations, youth movements, education partners and others interested in GSF’s work are welcome to join.
The discussion will provide an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the issues facing students and identify areas where GSF’s global advocacy and cooperation can make a difference.
Members’ consultation
A dedicated online consultation for GSF member organisations will take place on 20 November 2026 at 14:00 CET.
Members will discuss shared priorities, the support their organisations need and how they would like to contribute to GSF’s work in 2027. Participation details and the members-only survey will be shared directly with member organisations.
Contributions from both surveys and the online discussions will inform the development of GSF’s 2027 strategic priorities. You can submit a written response whether or not you attend a consultation meeting.
