Student Voices to COP31: A Global Pre-COP Dialogue

What should student representatives bring to the global climate negotiations? Join the Global Student Forum and the All-African Students Union for a one-hour online dialogue to share your priorities and connect with students attending COP.

Student Voices to COP31: A Global Pre-COP Dialogue
🗓️
October 27, 2026, 3-4 PM CEST, online on Zoom

Students around the world are responding to the climate crisis, organising for change and experiencing its effects on their education and communities. Their voices need to reach international climate discussions, including when they cannot attend in person.

Building on GSF’s previous in-person pre-COP gatherings, this online event will bring together student leaders and representatives preparing to attend COP. It is an opportunity to share experiences, raise concerns and help shape the messages students take into the conference.

During the dialogue, we will explore:

  • How climate change is affecting students, education and communities.
  • Which priorities student representatives should bring forward at COP.
  • How students attending COP can stay connected with the wider student movement and report back.

The discussion will help identify shared priorities for student advocacy at COP. Participants can contribute during the event and submit their priorities when registering.

Who can join?
Student leaders, student unions and student climate advocates from across the world are welcome, whether or not they are attending COP.
