Are you interested in careers in education, health, sanitation, or other public services? Do you think public services are essential for society or do you feel they’re undervalued?

The SDG4 Youth & Student Network, together with partners including the Global Student Forum, has launched a short survey to collect youth perspectives on the attractiveness of public service professions.

Your input will:

  • Bring youth voices to the Second World Summit for Social Development.
  • Inform global policy discussions and future programmes.
  • Ensure decision-makers understand what motivates or discourages young people from entering public service careers.

Why it matters
Public services such as healthcare, education and sanitation are the backbone of social development and human well-being. Yet many countries struggle to recruit and retain public service workers due to poor conditions, low pay, and limited career opportunities. Your perspective is vital to ensuring these professions are strengthened and made attractive for the next generation.
